Free Fall (2014)

Watched this "gem" today. Don't even ask me why. Really bad movie. I mean bad script, and bad plot and mammoth size plot-holes.

I was lured in by the somewhat famous actors McDowell and Gomez. Also Sarah Butler looked kinda hot on the cover. But in the movie... no good acting, no nothing.

The story in the nutshell is following. Hot office babe discovers some financial fraud after coworkers "suicide". After confiding to co-worker things go really bad for her. The hired gun although manages to kill few people in the movie, does not take out the "main target" even when he has plenty of opportunities and misses with almost every bullet he has in his gun.

The verdict... You can watch this to kill some time, but I recommend watching something else. :)

Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)

Today while doing random channel surfing ended up watching "Assault on Precinct 13".

I had seen this movie ages ago, but it was good to watch again.

Ethan Hawke was not that great, but Laurence Fishburne was brilliant as bad-ass criminal mr. Bishop.


Unfortunately this movie is so full of plot holes as a Swiss cheese is full of holes.

The bad guys attacking the precinct are just not too persistent in my opinion. There seem to be snipers on the roof, but at some point of time, the snipers have disappeared. At some point of time multiple people have laser sights pointing at precinct - little later they are gone and people can just stand next to open windows...

Welcome to Alar Lill's Movie Blog

Today (10.12.2012) is the day I decided to start a blog.

There are thousands if not millions of blogs out there - and I am not sure if mine will ever be any popular... But unless I try, I will not know.

As you probably can guess about the blog title, this will be all about movies ... and perhaps about TV series - something that is somewhat close to my heart. There are days I don't watch any movies, but usually I can say I try to watch maybe a movie a day.

Comedies and sci-fi movies are my favorites, but I do watch all types of movies.

Next week or so I will probably do no movie reviews as I am on vacation and not near computer and TV too much.
